Ok, so I am officially ashamed of myself for waiting so long to write! However, in my defense, I have spent the summer doing a whole lot of nothing, so I haven't had much to write about....until now : ) My last post was in May which was the end of the school year for Haven. Well, of course she graduated K-5 and we had a wonderful, long, lazy summer. It's good to have a break for a while, but I am always glad to get back into a routine again. Haven started school a few weeks ago and absolutely loves it! She is doing really well and has already made several new friends. She comes home every day with some new story to tell us, which is always hilarious! We are pretty busy right now with so many different things. We are in the PTO at Haven's school and I am also the room mother for her class. They are doing a fundraiser right now and they have a Fall festival coming up in October. I'm sure they will have me doing all kinds of wonderful things in no time! Haven is taking violin lessons which she started last Friday. She did really well for her first time, but she was disappointed that she didn't get to use the bow. She must have thought that she would just start playing right away, without even learning the strings first, haha. She is also doing gymnastics....her first class is tomorrow, so we will see how that goes. I really think she's going to love it since she bounces around the house like an acrobat. It will do her good to get some extra exercise in and also learn the right way to do flips and such so she doesn't hurt herself. Aaron is playing softball, so we are at the ball field 2 times a week on top of everything else! I honestly prefer being super busy rather than being bored. I really enjoy having to be somewhere different everyday and I especially enjoy seeing Haven try new things. I think this will be a great year for her! Speaking of trying new things.....I am actually studying for my insurance license exam! I am going to work from home being a producer for my dad, who owns an Allstate agency. With Haven back in school, my days are pretty quiet so I thought I'd like to do something to fill them up and make some extra dough at the same time! Why not take on one more challenge? LOL! So, anyways, there are all kinds of interesting things going on and I'm sure many more to come!
